Invitation to the 45rd Annual Cooperatives Congress in Portorož, 13th and 14th March 2018
Dear Sir/ Madam,
The most important event for Slovenian cooperatives is the Annual Cooperatives Congress which is organised by the Cooperative Union of Slovenia. It will take place in Portorož on the 13th and 14th of March 2018 in the Congress centre Grand Hotel Bernardin, Emerald Hall, Portorož, at the Adriatic seaside. This is our 45th annual congress, where we would like to represent our work and guidelines for the future of cooperatives and the agriculture sector.
The main topic of this year's conference will be the future of the Slovenian agriculture and cooperatives after 2020. Miro Cerar, Ph.d., Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Alojz Kovšca, President of the State Council of the Republic of Slovenia and Dejan Židan, M.Sc., Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food will also be present at the event.
The annual Congress is intended for the presidents and members of co-operative boards, managers and other leading personal in co-operatives, the management personnel of food processing industry, representatives of state and municipal bodies or agencies, agricultural advisors and others.
